While I was scouring around for things to write in my blog, I found this entry posted on a friend’s weblog.
Looks like an excuse for bashing TM.
Look, i’m no supporter of the monolothic, monopolistic TM, but cut them some slack. People make mistakes, some bug crept into the bill running and miscalculated things, and so on. Obviously somebody is pulling a publicity stunt here. Somebody wanted a name on the local media. The NST took the bait. Looks like it’s a dry newsweek.
One thing the one charged with such obscene bill amount should do first, is to bring the bill to the nearest TM outlet for clarification. I’m sure they’ll be glad to help. Only when they refused to do so, then you may go public.
Though I must admit, such errors should not happen. Reputation’s at stake here.
