And no, that is not the new All Your Base are Belong to Us phenomenal phrase.
I was scouring Lelong.com.my for a replacement motherboard that I could plug my existing Celeron in (the present one works fine, ‘cept that the CMOS circuitry failed, had to reset the clock and re-enable the ACPI setting everytime the computer has been off the plug) and I’d like an AGP slot to put a 3D Graphics Adapter in.
So I found this.
Pretech is not a motherboard brand known to me. Not much of a surprise as many are just rebranding of boards that come from an already well-known and famed for its cheap, low-cost offering manufacturer.
Some Googling lead me to its (now defunct) website. I was greeted with this:
