Serendipity 3 Closure
Sunday, November 18th, 2007In an ironic twist of fate, the famed general store and restaurant known for the most expensive dessert at $25,000, featured in quite a few movies, and not counting the one that was named after it, was forced to shut down for failing a health inspection. Apparently caused by our favorite pest of homes, the rodents and roaches.
One could’ve imagined for a restaurant with a typical 4-hour queue and managed to offer a ludicuruosly expensive dessert could afford at least a decent sanitary practice.
I mean, is it really too hard to pay a regular visit to the cold and damp areas to check on vermins?
And by the way, here’s a recipe for the famed Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, courtesy of Oprah.
